- water conservation is rain water harvesting. Digging ponds, lakes, canals, expanding the water reservoir, and installing rain water catching ducts and filtration systems on homes are different methods of harvesting rain water.
- 1) In Rural sector MAPS have installed Rain Water Harvesting projects in 106 villages of Pune & Beed district. Which includes 4822 residential, educational, community and government structures.
- Which totally covers 40047760 Sq Feet of roof top area and total of 3316 bore wells recharged with Potential 26.57 Cr Liters of Rainwater.
- 2) In urban sector MAPS have installed total 650 which is includes Residential society, Educational Institutes and also Hospitals.
- Which totally cover 6500000 Sq Feet of roof top area and total of 830 borewells recharged with Potential 49.5 Cr Liters of Rainwater.
